living backwards

there is a glimmer of hope in every yucky stage.

You can call it my Renaissance, but it’s been four years since I last blogged and I want to try this thing again. In order to look forward, I want to reflect back. So here I go…

2007: had just finished my MBA and was interviewing like mad for jobs that i didnt care about. my masters degree efforts felt fruitless in every regard. i would’ve been happy to have met the love of my life and become an artsy S.A.H.M.

dont get me wrong – i did manage to get a degree… but i left the bureaucratic money-eater (aka business school) without a job and without a man. This is one of my many drawings from that period (in sunny southern california).
